HUGH WRIGHT (The Key, Question Everything, Steal That Style, Around the World in 80 Dogs)
Hugh Wright is a five-time Daytime and Primetime Emmy Award nominated writer-producer-director with over 30-years experience working in both the UK and the USA.
His producing credits include game shows such as Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud and The Price is Right, award shows including The Asian Excellence Awards (E!) and comedy specials such the Outlaugh Comedy Festival (LOGO), the first LGBTQ+ stand-up comedy series on television. He currently has shows in production at Amazon and Hulu.
BETSY OCKERLUND NOLTE (Steal That Style)
Betsy Ockerlund Nolte is an established producer and executive with more than 15 years of experience. She has produced and developed both scripted and unscripted television projects, feature films, as well as sports programming including the 2014 Sochi Olympics, talk shows, game and competition shows, documentaries and digital branded series. Betsy is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
CRISPIN LEYSER (Sing It To Win It, Too Scared To Answer, How Do I Know You, Question Everything)
In the UK, CRISPIN worked for a number of prestigious production companies developing and producing shows for ITV, Channel 4 and C5. He was a Commissioning Editor for Channel 4 where he developed two new quizzes that went to series. In 2002 he moved to Los Angeles to become Head of Development for September Films USA where he devised and EP-ed shows for Fox, Lifetime and SKY. Since 2007, Crispin has been the LA-based consultant for the UK network Channel 4. Crispin straddles the world of scripted and unscripted TV and is an EP on a US remake of the BAFTA award-winning comedy Detectorists with Alexander Payne attached to direct. In the last two years he has focused on unscripted TV and currently has 7 ideas that he devised or co-devised in active development with producers in the US and UK. They include a true crime series with Penny Lane Entertainment, a science-themed competition series with Love Productions, a docuseries with INE Entertainment and a trivia board game with Kids at Play.
CHRIS LOWDEN (Too Scared To Answer)
Chris Lowden is a television content creator. After working as Casting Director where he was part of the startup teams at the TV Guide Network and REELZ Channel, Chris was on staff at Disney TV, NBC, ABC and Sony Pictures. In 2020 Chris transitioned into developing unscripted television formats in game, dating, music, competition, sport and lifestyle. Chris was recently highlighted by Television Business International magazine as a TV format creator to watch. Chris is represented by Joe LaBracio at UTA.
NICK SAMWELL SMITH (How Do I Know You)
With extensive experience as a Creative Director, Managing Director, Executive Producer, and Showrunner, Nick specialises in Entertainment, Factual Entertainment, and Formats. Since 2003, Nick has created, sold, and delivered a wide range of unscripted programming to UK and international markets. At Initial (Endemol UK) he worked his way up from Researcher to Managing Director. Since then he has been Creative Director at Expectation and Studio 1, and currently Head of Unscripted at ie:entertainment. Shows that Nick has created and/or delivered
include Big Brother (C5), Total Wipeout (BBC1), Stars in their Eyes (ITV), Your Face Sounds Familiar (ITV) and many more.
SEAN KIRKEGAARD (The Key)
Sean Kirkegaard has worked in senior development roles for, amongst others, FremantleMedia, ITV, the BBC and WBD. He has created or co-developed globally successful unscripted and entertainment formats, including Your Face or Mine?, Boot Camp, and Great British Bake Off.
